"Have been patronizing this store for a few years mainly because of location convenience but honestly, if a competitor moved in nearby, I'd go there instead.\n\nFirst of all, staff is pretty decent, not perfect but not the worst. They have had some turn over so your experience may vary for each visit, just don't expect too much. They seem to be chronically understaffed and 50% of the time, getting someone to set you up in a practice bay is an ordeal. Which, btw, are now overpriced considering the equipment and quality. The website is a miserable experience to book a practice bay btw and checking in to pay is just as bad. The whole process could be streamlined.\n\nStore layout is awkward af. There are two registers up front separated by the entrance so you're standing in the way of people coming, going and trying to walk through. Very often only one register is staffed by someone, so plan on waiting in a line most of the time. This is where the staffing issues are obvious, in addition, their PoS systems are glacier slow so transactions are not quick & efficient. The cashier also often has to answer the phone or take extra time with a customer's need (trade ins). Seems like this is a bottleneck in the store, makes me NOT want to purchase anything there because the wait & transaction process is painful. Again, not blaming staff, this is a PGAStore corp. decision to go cheap on PoS and create an awkward store layout & experience; thus discouraging me from wanting to purchase anything, unless I see there is no line, but there often is.\n\nLessons & fittings. Have not personally experienced this so cannot speak to it, though others online have and it is not great apparently, do your research. However. If you want to talk golf equipment, most of the staff over at fitting bays can be knowledgeable and helpful, IF they have the time, which usually they do not because they're very busy. So often, trying a used club will also be an exercise in patience. This is sort of understandable but seriously, if an associate walks past someone hold a club looking for assistance (this has happened more than once) at least ask to make an effort. But again, most staff is friendly knowledgeable & try to be helpful.\n\nClothing selection is adequate though pricey, even for golf. They also have the standard shoe selection, though often out of stock for most common or popular sizes. Again, do not expect much. Balls, gloves and other accessories are plentiful and pretty much as you'd expect.\n\nThe putting green area is awesome. Great to just pick out a display model and try it. \n\nIn the end, I only go here if I have no choice because I advocate supporting local over corporate stores and this one is an example why; too much price for a mid to low experience."

"Surprised I haven't already reviewed this. I've definitely been before, once in a long while when I'm looking for a specific item. It's huge, it's expensive, and usually it's disappointing. \n\nToday I was looking for a mess kit for camping. They have vast areas devoted to clothing, a whole wall of hundreds of Stanleys, 14 different dog bowls, and zero mess kits. Two little aisles of camping gear, and that's it. Their grilling section is four times as big as the camping section. I guess that's what people wanna buy, but if you are looking for outdoor supplies, this is not the place to come."

grammaticality - Lady's Ladies' or ladies - English Language & Usage ...
The plural possessive is "ladies'." "Lady" is singular, so if you were referring solely to one woman's shoes, it would be "the lady's shoes." As for your second question, I'm assuming you're referring to a group of women in your salutation of them, so it would be "Good morning, ladies." And as you're addressing them directly, the comma preceding "ladies" is necessary.

Correct use of possession for the plural 'ladies' [closed]
Hence, there is no ambiguity with the men, and for the same reason no ambiguity with the ladies. Ladies is the plural form of lady, so the apostrophe goes to the right - ladies'. If you are wondering why we don't write ladies's, it is because ladies is one of the exceptions, along with girls', parents', players', weeks' and even Klingons'

"Hi ladies" -- Is it rude to use this greeting for 3 people?
Closed 13 years ago. In addressing three people in an email isn't it more polite to use their names rather than "Hi ladies"? Also when you walk into a quad cubicle isn't it more polite to address people by their names? Grouping people together when there are only three is treating them as interchangeable, and is disrespectful isn't it?

Both "Ladies' Beer" and "Ladies Beer" are acceptable, but there is a slightly different implication depending on which you use. "Ladies' Beer" is written in the possessive form, and thus implies ownership.

Why does this "Ladies First" saying exist? - English Language & Usage ...
The tradition of "Ladies First" was originally a case of men being nice to women by voluntarily giving up their right to precedence. As oerkelens has stated, this would only be the case in safe situations, as it wouldn't be nice to send a woman ahead into danger.

How to address a formal letter to a group of women
Ladies comes to mind; Dear Ladies or My Dear Ladies if you prefer. Traditional writing often used Dear Sir or Madam so Dear Madams is correct although I think people avoid it today after that famous speech from the play I am not a Madam! which played on the occasional usage of this word for a woman who runs a house of prostitution. You can address one specifically the rest as a group like Dear ...

How to say hello to a group of people? [closed]
Ladies and gentlemen everyone [nothing] friends / folks / team Avoid mixing and matching: both hey there, ladies and gentlemen, let's rock! and S'up, honoured guests? are kind of weird. Not impossible to use, but definitely an expert technique. It's fine to say Good morning folks though.

What is a feminine version of 'guys'?
10 Apart from guys, which is fine and the most obvious choice, as others have mentioned, you could use ladies, which has a tinge of both irony and flattery. Most women appreciate this. Ladies is best accompanied by slightly exaggerated punctilio if the speaker is a man.

Why is it "ladies and gentlemen" instead of "gentlemen and ladies"?
The metrical pattern of "ladies and gentlemen" consists of (arguably) two dactyls. A dactyl is a group of three syllables where the first is stressed and the second two are unstressed.
