"0. Stars. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I dropped my camera off on January 30 and the gentleman at the desk told me that the sensor could be fixed and that there would be no worries. I get a call back on February 1 giving me an estimate of the cost for fixing it which was around $350. I then don't hear anything back from them so I give them a call on February 12. The guy that answered the phone tells me that he will check and see tomorrow. When he calls me on the 13th, he tells me that the sensor would cost $500 to get shipped from Canon plus the $350 fee to fix it and says it would cost around $900. If there was a possibility of a part needing to be shipped into the store, especially when you are told what is wrong with it, then look at the camera itself and see what is wrong with it, why would you not factor that in to the final cost? I also believe that he forgot about my camera and didn't check on it until I called and asked because he was so quick to tell me about it not being fixable the NEXT DAY. Also, the professionalism that is portrayed within that business is nonexistent. I did call Canaan customer care and they said that it would range between $179, $359, and $619. How is the manufacturer cheaper than the local repair shop? Not to mention, they charge you a "bench fee" of $60 for even opening it up and looking at the camera. I hope they go out of business soon. They do not deserve any type of customer interaction."

"I've been purchasing from World Of Photography for years. Everyone that works there is personable and informed about the products. They have a great selection of new and gently used equipment. The pricing is reasonable as well."

According to Nikon, you now need to use your Nikon ID to access NX Studio version 1.9.0 after installation. The one I have had with Nikon for years—used to register equipment, etc. was not recognized. The alternative method—Google—did not work either. I sent NikonUSA an email today about the problem and asked them for a solution.
Recently purchased a refurbished Z9 directly from Nikon USA and it arrived with a "dead" battery. No display on the camera; on the MH-33 charger the green light would just flash and when attempting to charge in camera, the orange charge light would only be on for one or two seconds and then turn ...
The Nikon importer in Europe came back today and “softened” the statement as it would be fake, instead: I am sure it is outside our area of responsibility. I have four DSLR from D300 to D850 all bought grey market, as there is only one shop selling legal imported Nikon and they charge between USD 600-900 more than the neighbor and the difference is 12 months warranty against 6 months. I ...
Regarding wide zooms, Nikon has none in Z mount like the older AF-S 17-35/2.8 or AF-S 16-35/4. Except for the Nikon/Tamron 17-28, which has a rather restricted range, there are no zooms for those who want to go wider than 24mm, but don't need or want the super-wide 14mm zooms.
Anyone not familiar with Nikon will undoubtedly feel a bit puzzled. Granted, most D40 users will buy AF-S lenses only, as these offer full compatibility, but this certainly makes the D40 and D40x a usable option as a lightweight, back-up DSLR for AI lens users.
Over the years, I have backed up my images to an external hard drive. While going through some reorganization, I found a file of RAW images, some of which would open, and some would not. These would have been all from Nikon digitial cameras. I attempted the Adobe Digital Negative converter with n...
I have a several high end Nikon AF-D lenses and an old digital camera that I’m looking for the value of. I’ve had these all since new but haven’t shot much in the last 10 plus years. I can list them here, please comment if you’re familiar with their values or does anyone know a good source to go ...
I moved away from nikon speedlights a long time ago since i feelthat they are way to expensive, and i have satisfactory results with yongnuo flashes and their 2.4 ghz radio system on nikon..
<p>I have here n approx 1972 Nikon F2 with DP-1 finder that I'm working on. The meter was off by approx 1.5 stops in the direction of causing underexposure. I have re-calibrated it successfully for sunny f/16 at ASA 200 and it is correct there. However, when I carry the camera into increasi...
