The Detroit Pistons beat the Los Angeles Lakers 128-106 on Tuesday night in a nationally televised game on NBC and Peacock. Pistons coach J.B. Bickerstaff credited soccer and sunshine for the victory, but the Lakers' defense played a part as well. Detroit shot 63% from the field and 46% from three in the win.

Former Indiana Pacers general manager Donie Walsh became the most hated man in town after he drafted UCLA sniper Reggie Miller over Indiana star Steve Alford. Pacers fans expected the team to draft the hometown hero who led the Hoosiers to the 1987 NCAA men's basketball title. But Walsh set his eyes on Reggie, and he was right.

While I'll knock the series for choosing to reference Indiana Beach over the vastly superior state theme park, Holiday World, I absolutely love the Reggie Miller reference that goes much deeper than most fans of Stranger Things may know. For those out of the loop, I'm happy to break it down.
