Riyue Bay in Wanning, Hainan is drawing global attention with the opening of the 2025 World Surf League. Running from December 11 to 17, this year's event attracted more than 160 professional surfers from over 10 countries. In addition to competitions, an array of activities such as beach music parties, duty-free markets, and food carnivals will also be held at the bay. As a national training base for surfing, the bay has hosted a list of domestic and international competitions in recent years.
